About the Camino
The Camino de Santiago was my first hike over 150 miles in length. I’d daydreamed about walking in beautiful places and covering major miles for years leading up to it. And while it was much different that a wilderness backcountry hike, there were plenty of challenges along the way. I was trekking in a foreign country, speaking a different language, and trying to follow a mostly vegetarian diet in a country that makes a hobby of pairing everything with ham.
Along with its many challenges though, my pilgrimage led to tremendous personal growth. This page contains all my daily blogs from the Camino and some of the lessons I leaned along the way. Enjoy!
